What You Need

  • Red paper – One square of flexible paper
  • Pencil
  • Sharp scissors
  • Stapler
  • Black marker (or other coloring tool)
  • Craft Knife

Instructions

Step1. Make sure your red paper is a perfect square-shaped by measuring it.

Step2. Fold it 3 times and crease the edge really well, following the steps below: so that we can make the decorative patterns on the four sides are the same.

Step3. Draw the decorative patterns on the folded paper (remember, the white part is to be cut of or carved off). Use the stapler to force the eight layers of paper to be together tightly.
